ACCESSIBILITY

Last reviewed October 20, 2026

Shinkafa, Inc. wants everyone to be able to use Shinkafa.com, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.

Our standard

We aim for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA. We review the site against these guidelines and fix problems as we find them.

What the site does

  • Our main pages, product pages and blog posts each have one main heading, with sections marked by headings so screen readers can move through them.
  • Images that carry meaning have text descriptions.
  • Form fields on our Wholesale Inquiry and Contact forms have visible labels, and required fields are marked.
  • The site works on phones and tablets: text reflows to the screen width, form fields are large enough that phones do not zoom in, and most buttons and links are sized to be tapped easily.
  • An accessibility menu (the UserWay icon on every page) lets you change text size, spacing, contrast and other display settings.

Known limitations

  • The slideshow at the top of the homepage changes automatically.
  • Some decorative banners and quotes are images; where they contain words, the words are in the image description.
  • Some product category pages have no main heading, and some older blog posts skip heading levels. We are correcting these as pages are updated.
  • Some links in small carousels and inside paragraphs are smaller than recommended for tapping.
  • The Instagram feed, the map on our Contact page and customer review photos come from other companies’ services, and we cannot fully control how they work with assistive technology.
